I was a regular here years ago when I worked in the North End. I was back the other day when walking through the neighborhood a wind gust blew soot in my eyes and I needed to get a contact lens out ASAP. The pharmacist got me a bottle saline solution and without my asking, provided me with an open box of tissues and some counter space so I could take the lens out.

It was the same friendly service I remembered. And where else can you practice your Italian than with these pharmacists who still remain bilingual the better to serve the sadly dwindling but still vital Italian community here.

Don’t come here expecting the almost supermarket-like selection of every item under the sun including food that chain pharmacies carry.

But do come if you want personalized service for real drugstore needs, careful prescription filling and perhaps some genuine TLC from someone who will get to know you.

If I lived in the neighborhood or worked nearby this would be my regular pharmacy to be sure.”
